The Adept Cosmetics Element 115 Eyeshadow Palette wasan indie, limited-edition release in late 2023 that is now sold out and discontinued. The palette, which had an alien theme, was inspired by a New York Times article on the Pentagon's UFO program
Shades: The palette featured 15 eyeshadows, including 10 multi-chrome shimmer shades and 5 matte shades, with a predominantly cool-toned color story. Some rainbow shades were hand-poured, which could cause slight variation between palettes.
Formula: The shimmers were noted for being very sparkly but could produce fallout without a good glitter primer. The mattes were described by one reviewer as silky but powdery.
Packaging: palette came in faux leather packaging with an alien design and a full-size mirror that read "believe". The pans were magnetic and removable. The outer packaging was made with recycled plastic and protected with a UV coat, which could cause a temporary chemical smell upon opening.
Inspiration: The palette's theme was inspired by aNew York Timesarticle and interviews with Bob Lazar concerning UFOs.
